STAR Aquatics Registration Options
- Competitive - Competitive registered swimmers plan to register with USA Swimming to compete in a wider variety of meets, as well as have the potential to qualify for championship meets.
- Seasonal - Seasonal registered swimmers have the option to enter and compete in a few smaller local meets over the course of the season.
**Annual Registration Fee for Competitive Swimmers - $175 (Includes – STAR Cap, Car Magnet, Team Suit, Team Shirt and AAU Membership & Insurance). Once registered with STAR, you have the option to register with USA Swimming and will pay them directly (Premium - $82 and Flex $40). Flex Membership is only an option for 12 & Under swimmers and allows them to compete in only two (2) meets below the LSC Championship level.
**Annual Registration Fee for Seasonal Swimmers - $85 (Includes – STAR Cap, Car Magnet, Team Shirt and AAU Membership Insurance). Swimmers may only participate in AAU meets unless they decide to upgrade to USA Swimming.
**Outreach Registration Fee – $35 (Available to anyone with Free or Reduced Lunch and Includes – STAR Cap, Car Magnet, Team Shirt and AAU Membership & Insurance)
**Discounts – To help offset the cost for larger families, STAR offers a $10 discount for each paying swimmer for families with multiple Competitive or Seasonal participants with the 4th swimmer's monthly dues FREE!! (Must have 2 or more swimmers to qualify)

Meet Fees: Fees for meets are a separate charge, so swimmers are only charged for meets for which they register. Meet fees include those charged by the host club for each swimmer in the meet (ie. - Facility Fee, LSC Travel Fund Fee and sometimes a Heat Sheet Fee if Heat Sheet is electronic) and the event fees (per charge fee for each individual event -- STAR covers the cost for relays). Meet fees are charged on the 1st of the month after registration is due for the meet. Swimmers will be charged for the meets for which they are registered at the registration deadline, even if they do not swim, since STAR must pay the host team, GAC and NCS.
